George Haggarty is renowned for his ceramic scholarship, especially in the field of Scottish pottery.  In the course of of his researches into the  Scottish Custom Port Records he made a series of notes and he has generously made them available to anyone who is interested.

These are his working notes and span records from the 1740s to the 1760s and include imports of clay from Ireland, and exports of various kinds of pottery to destination near and far.
